RIMMATS began with a simple frustration. Its founder, Michael Butler, is a lifelong car enthusiast who takes great pride in maintaining a spotless vehicle. During routine cleaning, he noticed that tools used on wheels and tyres often touched the ground, picked up grit, and made the job harder than it needed to be. Attempts to solve the issue, such as moving the car or placing boards and mats underneath never fully worked.
This challenge became the starting point for RIMMATS.
Over the next two years, Michael dedicated evenings and weekends to refining the concept, selecting the right materials, and testing every detail. Once the design met his standards, he partnered with trusted British manufacturers to bring the product to life.
Today, RIMMATS is a proud family-run brand, designed and made in Great Britain. Its purpose remains simple: to make wheel cleaning easier, cleaner, and more effective for enthusiasts everywhere.
